36 weeks

How far along? 36 weeks 1 day

Symptoms: swollen feet and ankles but not bad, tired more and harder to move around. Add in the headache for the last week too (still no sign of it going away).

Stretch marks? It looks like we have lucked out in this area

Weight Gain: I'm thinking close to 30

Sleep? as long as I get to sleep before the pain meds wear off I'm pretty good...I try to do this so I take less of them in the long run. I usually wake around 3:30 am wanting to take another but depending on the night I can sometimes get back to sleep or sometimes I will take one. I think I need to pay attention to when I turn over though as I think this may be part of the culprit for my headache (tweeking my neck)

Best moment this week? I think this week I've just enjoyed watching them move in big jutting out movements. I think we're wrapping up the shopping. Still need to pack a hospital bag HAHA

Movement? They are more alien looking movements as Jeff calls them and he can see them from across the room if I get his attention at the right moment. Very cool.

Food Cravings? I got my slurpee but no cravings since then. I still just like all the regular food I usually ate before.

Gender? baby girls

What I miss? Nothing compared to where I am

What I'm looking forward to? at this point probably just finally meeting the girls (skipping over the labor and delivery hehe) and having them home.

What I will miss? feeling and seeing them move. Being able to care for them simply by eating, sleeping and doing my usual stuff (I'm more scared and nervous of caring for a baby much less two).

Milestones: 2 weeks left at the most. We set up our two last appointments with Dr B and I asked him if the 38 weeks was still his "end goal" and he said "yep...your days are numbered" with a little laugh. Still no actual set time or day though for this. I am only dialated to 1 cm (I think he just said that to make me feel better) and Dr B also said "it looks like we'll have to take action to get them going as it doesn't look like they plan on going anywhere anytime soon". Both girls are head down now though. One is 5 lbs and one is 5 lb 5 oz. Hopefully we can put some more weight on them before the big day.
